Less slip due to embossing

Lenzing Plastics' embossed, foamed polypropylene film is characterised by its improved cushioning effect. Through this, it protects the insulation layer from damage from the armour wire. A minimum overlay is possible with spiral winding which in turn means fewer damaged places and no breaking open of the film. Naturally the diamond structure also guarantees greater heat insulation.

Moreover, the PP-SR type is characterised by its high tenacity, good dimensional stability and well-known resistance to all cable materials. So what else does PP-SR have in it favour? The answer is quite simple: the price! The price is convincing which means it is more favourable than other films.

Binding and dividing – doubly secure

Used as a division film between conductor segments and insulation layers, the foamed and embossed polypropylene film offers additional protection against damages as a result of its cushioned design.

The binding film with diamond embossing can be ideally used in the low and medium voltage range (1 – 30 kV): Its resistance can only be bettered by the favourable price/performance ratio and by the tried and tested Lenzing quality.
